Responsibilities and Duties

- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes meet standards of taste, presentation, and authenticity. - Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, maintaining consistency and efficiency during service. - Contribute to the development of new Italian menu items using seasonal produce and traditional techniques. - Oversee mise en place, stock control, supplier ordering, and delivery coordination. - Ensure adherence to food hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards. - Support staff training and development to foster a professional and positive kitchen environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

- education: Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional training - experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Italian cuisine in a professional kitchen - Strong leadership and organizational abilities - Creativity and attention to detail - Ability to perform well under pressure - Passion for authentic Italian cooking
