Sales Manager

Description

This role combines technical expertise with sales and business development skills to drive revenue growth within the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing and presenting tailored solutions, and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Conduct technical presentations and provide supporting documentation to telecom customers. * Analyze customer requirements and design solutions that effectively address their needs. * Develop proposals, business case analyses, statements of work, and other relevant documents during tendering processes. * Collaborate with industry business unit leaders to lead and cultivate channel partnerships. * Achieve and exceed sales quotas while adhering to company sales policies. * Prepare and submit weekly reports on sales pipeline and forecasts. * **Product Demonstrations and Support:** * Clearly articulate product features and benefits using simplified technical language during product demonstrations. * Provide post-sales customer support as needed. * Present and demonstrate products at sales meetings, product seminars, and industry exhibitions. * Update order and sales records and negotiate optimal contract terms. * Manage sales collections. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and expand sales territories by acquiring new clients. * Facilitate discussions and coordinate with the production team to address issues and identify effective solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. * Minimum of eight years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry with a focus on vendor sales. * Proven experience working closely with sales, marketing, client services, executive management, operations teams, and product management. * In-depth knowledge of Telecom BSS and OSS systems, as well as cloud-based solution design for vertical industries such as e-commerce, finance, and hospitality. * Excellent customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational, research, and multitasking abilities. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare marketing materials, presentations, and effectively communicate in front of groups. * Willingness to travel as required for business needs. * Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the R&D department at the company's headquarters in Mainland China. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective cross-team communication.
