Sales Manager

Description

This role is responsible for driving sales and revenue within a food service establishment by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams. The focus is on achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, aiming for a specified monthly revenue goal. * Prepare sales forecasts and analyze sales data to enhance profitability. * Negotiate contracts for catering and event services, balancing profitability with customer satisfaction. * Develop and implement sales strategies designed to attract new customers and retain existing clientele. * Identify and target corporate clients, event organizers, and other potential customers for group bookings and catering services. * Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. * Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers, event planners, and other relevant stakeholders. * Address customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests to ensure a positive customer experience. * Collaborate with restaurant staff to provide personalized dining experiences. * Work with marketing teams to design and execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and special events. * Utilize social media, digital marketing techniques, and local advertising to reach a broader audience. * Organize events such as food festivals, theme nights, or other special occasions to increase customer traffic. * Collaborate closely with the restaurant's kitchen, service, and operations teams to ensure smooth fulfillment of sales commitments. * Coordinate with chefs to create special menus and offerings tailored to customer preferences. * Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market feedback. * Present sales reports and strategies to senior management on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. * Demonstrated success in sales and marketing within the hospitality or food service industry.
