Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare all menu items according to the Executive Chef's specifications and quality standards. * Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, health, and safety within the kitchen. * Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or potential hazards to the Executive Chef or a senior team member. * Strictly control food waste and ensure all waste is reported following the correct procedures. * Adhere to proper stock rotation practices, ensuring food products are used before their expiration dates. * Ensure all portion sizes are strictly followed as outlined in recipes and guidelines. * Maintain the highest standards of food production and presentation at all times, in accordance with performance manuals and recipes. * Ensure all work surfaces, refrigeration units, and storage areas are cleaned and sanitized before the end of each shift. * Foster a close, professional, and cooperative working relationship with all other team members. * Assist in developing recipes and costings in collaboration with the Executive Chef or a senior team member, as needed, to help achieve monthly profit targets. * Participate in the monthly physical inventory count of the restaurant, including items such as plates and utensils. * Perform various other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
