Description
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, maintaining payroll records, and addressing employee inquiries. The individual will work closely with HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage the complete payroll process for employees, including calculating wages, benefits, and deductions. * Maintain precise payroll records and ensure timely updates for new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments. * Ensure adherence to local tax laws, labor regulations, and organizational policies related to payroll. * Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies that may arise. * Prepare and submit required statutory filings, including tax withholdings, social security contributions, and other necessary reports. * Address employee questions and concerns related to payroll, resolving issues promptly and professionally. * Collaborate effectively with Human Resources and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processing. * Stay informed about evolving payroll regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. * Demonstrable experience as a Payroll Executive or in a similar payroll-focused role. * Strong understanding of payroll systems and software applications. * Familiarity with relevant labor laws and tax regulations. * Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. * Experience with processing payroll across multiple countries is considered a plus. * Certification in payroll management is advantageous.
