Chef de Partie (CDP) / Junior Sous Chef

Responsibilities and Duties

* Follow the directives of the senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations. * Prepare all necessary ingredients and sauces for service. * Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels at your assigned cooking station. * Prepare specific menu items and ensure a fresh supply of produce for daily use. * Maintain strict adherence to hygiene standards and proper food handling practices. * Rotate stock effectively, ensuring ingredient freshness and minimizing waste. * Contribute to accurate inventory management by participating in stocktaking and supply ordering. * Engage in ongoing skill development and complete assigned ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

* 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a restaurant or food service environment as a cook or Chef De Partie is required. * A valid food safety and hygiene certification is preferred. (If not, a willingness to obtain it is required) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen setting. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A strong team player with a keen eye for detail and a sense of responsibility. * A genuine desire to learn and grow within the organization.
