Responsibilities and Duties

* Collaborate with the head pastry team to develop fresh pastry and dessert creations or refine existing recipes. * Prepare pastries according to established quality standards, following provided recipes and operational guidelines. * Maintain strict adherence to food handling, storage, and hygiene regulations. * Assist in ordering necessary supplies and ensuring adequate ingredient and equipment availability. * Organize and maintain proper stock and storage to support efficient kitchen operations. * Inspect and receive deliveries, verifying freshness and accuracy against orders. * Work closely with the team to monitor and maintain the quality of raw materials. * Conduct regular inventory checks and document any food waste. * Actively minimize ingredient waste and promote efficient kitchen practices. * Uphold cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of the kitchen and equipment. * Perform other duties as assigned by the senior pastry team.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma or vocational certification in Culinary Arts with a focus on pastry skills. * A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in pastry preparation. * Demonstrated proficiency in pastry-making techniques. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. * Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. * A positive, service-oriented attitude and a commitment to high standards of personal hygiene. * Enthusiasm for providing outstanding service and flourishing within a team oriented environment.
