A dynamic opportunity exists for a culinary professional to contribute to a bustling kitchen environment. The individual will work closely with the senior chef, playing a pivotal role in daily operations and menu innovation. This position demands a blend of practical kitchen skills, a strong understanding of food safety, and the ability to mentor junior staff. When the senior chef is unavailable, this role will assume leadership of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Step in and manage overall kitchen workflow when the lead chef is not present. * Collaborate with the senior chef to conceptualize and design fresh menu items. * Support the senior chef in daily kitchen management tasks. * Maintain consistent standards for food preparation, portioning, and presentation. * Oversee and manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control. * Enforce and adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols. * Provide guidance and training to less experienced kitchen staff. * Perform any other assigned tasks as directed by management or the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of two years of relevant culinary experience is desired. * Fundamental knowledge of food safety and sanitary practices. * A collaborative spirit, coupled with a desire for professional development. * A meticulous approach and strong attention to detail. * A proactive and self-driven attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
