Responsibilities and Duties

* Plan and oversee food preparation and culinary activities * Create and update menus that meet quality and authenticity standards * Estimate food requirements, control costs, and manage budgets * Supervise and train kitchen staff while maintaining smooth operations * Manage equipment purchases, maintenance, and repairs * Recruit, schedule, and evaluate kitchen staff performance * Ensure compliance with food safety, nutrition, and sanitation standards * Oversee administrative duties including timekeeping and payroll * Handle complaints and resolve operational issues promptly * Maintain professionalism and teamwork with colleagues and customers

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Head Chef in North Indian cuisine * Strong expertise in curries, tandoor, breads, and traditional dishes * Proven leadership, recruitment, and team management skills * Excellent understanding of food cost control and kitchen operations * Strong problem-solving skills with a professional and positive approach
