Matchaya is a classy Japanese-themed café serving one of the best and most authentic matcha tea in Singapore. Other than matcha, we also serve various teas, teasserts, healthy bowls as well as merchandise. The store that you will be working at in conveniently located at the heart of CBD with close proximity to Raffles MRT station, in the newly built building, CapitaSpring.

Responsibilities and Duties

・To be responsible in all duties relevant to a Tearista/Counter Crew. ・To ensure the counter area is well-kept and all equipment & bar utensils are washed and cleaned. ・To ensure service standard and customer satisfaction is maintained. ・To assist in daily stocktake and inventory management. ・Order taking and cashier duties ・Keep and maintain store cleanness by sweeping, wiping, vacuuming and mopping the store. ・To participate in all training programs relevant to the company’s businesses. ・Communicate well and work harmoniously with all team members. ・To perform ad hoc runner duties when required. ・Work as a team and assist each other when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

・Extensive experience in latte art and drinks preparation as barista is preferred, but not required. ・Passionate, proactive, outgoing, able to connect with customer and deliver great customer service experience. ・Progressive career objective and motivate to learn and progress. ・Team player, discipline and self-starter. ・Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. ・Has a valid food and safety certificate. ・Minimum 2 years of experience as working in a restaurant/café environment. ・Love spending weekends and holidays with family and friends.

Working hours

・5 days work week, Monday to Friday, 8am-7pm.
