The Cook / Demi Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking Western dishes according to recipes and company standards, supporting daily kitchen operations, and ensuring food hygiene and safety compliance. Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of Western dishes following recipes and company standards * Support daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and portion control * Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in line with NEA requirements * Assist with stock ordering, receiving, and storing supplies * Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely service and smooth operations * Adhere to company SOPs and workplace safety regulations

Qualifications and Requirements

* 1–2 years of experience in Western cuisine (stalls, cafés, or restaurants) * Valid Food Hygiene Certificate * Ability to read and write simple English for stock ordering and safety documentation * Communication in Chinese preferred (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking colleagues) but not mandatory * Willingness to work 6 days per week, including weekends, public holidays, and long hours * Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn * Candidates should note this is a non-halal establishment
