Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to uphold exceptional standards in food, service, and overall guest experience. This role involves contributing to the effective management of the establishment through collaborative planning, organization, and regular team communication. A key aspect will be the training and development of all service staff. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be prepared to assume the responsibilities of the General Manager during their absence.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Ensure the delivery of the highest levels of service to all patrons. * Work towards achieving monthly revenue targets for food and beverage. * Strictly adhere to established operational budgets and actively manage costs. * Secure and accurately account for all sales transactions. * Manage the process of voiding, correcting, and modifying bills according to established procedures. * Account for all bills used during each shift, including any voided transactions. * Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in transactions. * Reconcile daily sales transactions with computer-generated reports at the end of each shift. * Ensure the efficient operation of the establishment in line with its core principles. * Be actively involved and present across all operational levels during service periods. * Delegate tasks to the service team and regularly monitor their performance. * Conduct monthly inventory checks of all operational equipment and supplies. * Manage the requisitioning, storage, and responsible use of all operational equipment and supplies. * Prepare staff schedules and communicate them in advance, ensuring adequate staffing levels and adjusting for absences as needed. * Conduct or oversee daily pre-shift briefings for employees covering preparation, service standards, menu details, grooming expectations, and guest requirements. * Liaise with the kitchen and front desk teams on daily operations and quality assurance. * Handle guest feedback, requests, and inquiries, escalating them to senior management as necessary. * Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with guests. * Maintain a daily management log and communicate relevant information to all levels of management on a daily basis. * Support the training and professional growth of all service staff members. * Coordinate with the front desk team to optimize table utilization through effective planning and organization. * Participate in regular meetings with fellow managers to ensure consistency in standards and procedures, and maintain a daily log of key information. * Conduct performance reviews with all front-of-house staff. * Ensure all employees report for their shifts on time and in the correct uniform. * Contribute to building an effective and unified team by showing genuine interest in their well-being, safety, and development. * Undertake any other reasonable tasks and responsibilities as directed by management. * Operate as a collaborative team member at all times, demonstrating flexibility to ensure optimal efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry. * Strong understanding of food and beverage operations and service standards. * Excellent leadership and team management skills. * Ability to effectively manage budgets and control costs. * Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations and resolve issues professionally. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of inventory management and control procedures. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * A commitment to maintaining high standards of service and quality. * Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
