The ideal candidate will inspire and develop their team, while also driving menu innovation and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Conduct interviews, onboard, and develop cooks and other kitchen personnel. * Organize and oversee the daily tasks of the food preparation team. * Ensure the well-being and safety of all kitchen staff through diligent adherence to protocols. * Design and curate appealing menus, ensuring freshness and optimal presentation. * Stay informed about current culinary trends and integrate them into menu offerings. * Create new recipes and determine the most effective ways to plate and present dishes. * Procure food and necessary supplies, including kitchen equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records. * Manage relationships with suppliers, verifying accurate deliveries and pricing. * Perform regular inspections to ensure all equipment and work areas are consistently clean and sanitary. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a senior kitchen role. * Current knowledge of evolving culinary trends. * Demonstrated ability to craft distinctive and delectable dishes. * Capacity to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure. * Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities. * Availability to work on Sundays and public holidays.
