Description

Responsibilities and Duties
- Cut and prepare meats and vegetables according to established specifications. - Track kitchen inventory and conduct daily stock orders. - Clean food preparation areas in compliance with hygiene laws and company policies. - Prepare food according to client specifications and dietary needs. - Adjust dishes to accommodate guests with allergies or specific dietary requirements. - Supervise and coordinate with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth workflow. - Act as liaison between kitchen and front-of-house teams for efficient service. - Season and cook food following recipes or company standards. - Order required ingredients, spices, and other kitchen items as needed. - Operate appliances such as blenders, ovens, and grills safely and efficiently. - Portion, arrange, and garnish dishes according to presentation standards. - Assist fellow cooks during food preparation and plating.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in western cuisine. - Proven experience in a western-style kitchen environment. - Knowledge of proper hygiene and food safety practices. - Willingness to work long hours and perform overtime when required. - Strong understanding of western herbs, spices, and flavor profiles.
