Responsibilities and Duties
* Support Head Chef, Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, and Pastry Chef during service to ensure smooth pastry operations * Prepare and present desserts to the highest standards of flavor, texture, and presentation * Maintain consistency by following approved recipes and ingredient guidelines * Take responsibility for assigned pastry station, ensuring cleanliness, readiness, and efficiency * Suggest improvements and address challenges to enhance pastry quality and workflow * Ensure all pastry items meet company quality and portion control standards
Qualifications and Requirements
* Diploma or higher qualification in Pastry, Bakery, or related discipline * 3–5 years pastry experience in high-standard restaurants or hotels * Strong teamwork and leadership potential with excellent communication skills * Positive, professional, and passionate about pastry arts * Able to work weekends and public holidays; immediate starters preferred
