Retail Sales Assistant

Description

The Retail Assistant is responsible for opening and closing the shop, depending on the assigned shift. Key duties include performing cashiering tasks using the POS system, assisting customers with sales, and managing customer orders by liaising with the production team. This role also involves handling food delivery platform systems and processing orders, restocking and replenishing display counters, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the retail area and display shelves. The Retail Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining smooth operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

Open and close the store according to the assigned shift schedule. Perform cashiering duties using the POS system. Assist customers with sales and provide product recommendations. Coordinate with the production team on customer orders placed through the outlet. Handle and manage orders via food delivery platforms. Restock and maintain display counters to ensure product availability. Ensure the retail area and display shelves remain clean and organized.

Qualifications and Requirements

Proficient in both spoken and written English, with conversational Mandarin skills. Capable of multitasking effectively and efficiently. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate well with others. Focused on delivering excellent customer experiences while prioritizing efficiency. Responsible, assertive, and maintains a positive attitude in all situations. Eager to learn new skills and grow professionally. Open to Singaporean candidates only.
