Responsibilities and Duties

*Plan, supervise, and execute all kitchen activities with a focus on exceptional food quality and presentation *Provide strong leadership by training, mentoring, and guiding kitchen staff *Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and cleanliness protocols; conduct routine kitchen inspections *Monitor food costs, manage inventory levels, and implement strategies to reduce waste *Ensure effective coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams to enhance guest experience *Oversee procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and stock accuracy *Prepare staff rosters and assign cleaning and maintenance duties within the kitchen *Foster a cooperative work environment with an emphasis on productivity, safety, and morale

Qualifications and Requirements

*Prior experience in a similar Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role, ideally in a European-style restaurant *Deep understanding of Italian and/or Swiss cuisine and bistronomy concepts *Proven team management, training, and leadership skills *Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices *Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced culinary environment
