Junior Chef [Split Shift]

Responsibilities and Duties

Ingredient Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, peeling vegetables, and cutting meat. Chef Assistance: Assist the Head Cook with various culinary tasks. Kitchen Operations: Participate in all aspects of kitchen operations, from food preparation to final production. Instruction Following: Follow instructions and complete duties assigned by the Chef. Dish Preparation: Cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, maintaining high quality standards. Station Maintenance: Assist the team in checking and maintaining your assigned station, taking overall responsibility for its condition. Team Communication: Communicate with the team regarding potential improvements or challenges in your section. Quality Assurance: Ensure all dishes prepared and presented in your section meet the company's established standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of working experience in a restaurant setting. Meticulous attention to detail, a strong team player, and a positive attitude. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and a strong motivation to excel. Passion for food, creativity, and a results-oriented approach. Ability to work Lunch and Dinner shifts Monday to Friday, and Dinner only on Saturday. Ability to work the hours provided
