Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Head Chef specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine to lead our kitchen team. This role is ideal for a culinary professional with in-depth knowledge of various regional Chinese dishes and a passion for delivering excellence in every plate. As Head Chef, you’ll take charge of the kitchen operations, ensure quality food production, and inspire your team through strong leadership. Experience in large-scale catering is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food preparation and service *Prepare authentic dishes from various Chinese provinces, with the ability to adapt and innovate based on guest preferences *Maintain high culinary standards in taste, presentation, and consistency *Train, guide, and supervise kitchen staff to uphold professionalism and efficiency *Monitor kitchen inventory and coordinate timely ordering of ingredients to avoid shortages *Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety standards *Collaborate on menu planning and dish development to enhance guest satisfaction *Handle night shift operations, including service up to 3:30 AM *Support large-scale catering orders when required

Qualifications and Requirements

*Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Chinese culinary techniques *Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced kitchen *Ability to handle responsibilities independently and lead by example *Flexible with working hours, including late-night shifts *Experience in catering is an added advantage *Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence *Meals provided during shift
