Sous Chef

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef with a strong culinary background and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will have at least 10–15 years of kitchen experience, demonstrate strong leadership, and be committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role includes overseeing kitchen operations, menu creation, and ensuring that high standards of food quality and hygiene are consistently met.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Prepare food for all customers in accordance with standard recipes and service procedures *Innovate and design special dishes and menus tailored for VIP guests *Lead the kitchen team in product innovation, menu planning, and recipe development *Manage the daily procurement and proper storage of fresh seafood and other ingredients *Oversee the entire food production process, ensuring efficiency and quality from start to finish *Maintain consistent food quality and presentation in line with operational standards *Monitor daily food requirements and prepare according to the food chart *Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in compliance with regulations *Train and mentor new kitchen staff to maintain kitchen excellence *Support senior management with any other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements

*Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience in a commercial kitchen *Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire a kitchen team *Strong understanding of seafood preparation and menu creation *Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills *Creative and innovative approach to food and menu development *Positive work attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for the business *Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
