Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

- Manage daily FOH and BOH operations according to SOPs - Supervise and support staff to deliver excellent customer service - Coordinate between kitchen and FOH teams for smooth peak-hour service - Monitor operations for efficiency, food preparation, and table turnover - Manage inventory, ordering, and waste for cost optimization - Recruit, train, and manage staff, ensuring performance expectations are met - Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs - Manage staff scheduling for optimal coverage - Monitor and address customer feedback to maintain satisfaction - Resolve customer complaints promptly - Collaborate with management to achieve sales and profitability targets - Control labor and food costs, monitor daily revenue - Report on restaurant performance to management - Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations - Conduct regular safety checks and audits - Manage labor expenses within budgetary goals - Fulfil administrative work (reports, payroll, financial data submission) - Coordinate training schedules for staff and compliance with training programs - Support marketing campaigns and in-house promotions

Qualifications and Requirements

- Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or equivalent - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience - Energetic, team-oriented, and service-focused - Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
