Responsibilities and Duties

*Culinary Excellence: Prepare all food items for customers meticulously, adhering to established procedures and our high service standards. *Menu Innovation: Spearhead the creation of new dishes and specialized menus, particularly for VIP guests, ensuring unique and memorable culinary experiences. *Team Leadership & Product Development: Guide and mentor the kitchen team in all aspects of product innovation, strategic product planning, and sophisticated menu design. *Inventory & Procurement: Take charge of all food purchasing and ensure proper storage practices to maintain freshness and minimize waste. *End-to-End Production: Expertly manage the entire food production process, from ingredient preparation to final plating. *Quality & Consistency: Guarantee that both the final culinary products and the cooking processes consistently meet our stringent procedures and quality standards. *Specialty Sourcing: Responsibly purchase fresh seafood on a daily basis for our distinctive weekly special dishes. *Portion Management: Prepare appropriate quantities of food based on daily food charts to ensure efficiency and reduce excess. *Staff Training: Provide valuable assistance in the training and development of new kitchen staff members. *Ad-Hoc Duties: Capably perform any other job-related duties as requested by senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

*A substantial minimum of 10 years of progressive experience working in a professional kitchen environment, with ideally 10-15 years reflecting a deep culinary journey. *Must possess a strong and positive working attitude, demonstrating professionalism and dedication. *A proven ability to innovate and create new menus, bringing fresh ideas and culinary trends to life. *Excellent teamwork skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively and contribute positively within a kitchen brigade. *A genuine willingness to go the extra mile for the business, demonstrating commitment and flexibility.
