Assistant Marketing Manager

Description

This role provides essential support to the marketing team by assisting in the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies. The Assistant Marketing Manager will be involved in various activities, including market research, content creation, campaign implementation, performance analysis, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Implement marketing plans, including designing advertisements for various media and securing advertising space to promote products or services. * Conduct research on current market trends and competitor offerings to inform product development and improvement. * Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities to assess goal attainment and identify areas requiring further action. * Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans for products or services, utilizing knowledge of marketing principles and best practices. * Utilize digital media platforms, such as social media channels, blogs, video-sharing sites, and news websites, to promote products or services. * Research potential new market segments and identify growth opportunities within existing markets. * Prepare reports on marketing activities, including expenditures and achieved results, to monitor performance and identify areas for enhancement. * Coordinate with external vendors, such as graphic designers and advertising agencies, to create and distribute marketing materials. * Manage the daily operations of the marketing department, which may include staff management responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. * Prior experience in a marketing or administrative role is preferred. * Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in standard office software and digital marketing tools. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
