Kitchen Assistant

Description

We are hiring a motivated and dependable Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team with daily food prep and kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is eager to learn and grow within the food service industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Assist the cook with meal preparation such as cleaning, peeling, slicing, and chopping fruits, vegetables, poultry, and meat *Reheat and stir sauces and soups as instructed *Clean, wash, and properly store kitchen equipment, utensils, cutting tools, and dishware *Ensure all food items are stored correctly in designated kitchen, cold room, and storage areas *Support the kitchen team with various duties as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

*Willing to work split shifts, weekends, and on public holidays *Energetic, responsible, and open to learning new kitchen tasks *A team player with a proactive mindset and strong work ethic *Good interpersonal and basic communication skills
