Description
We are seeking a Chef de Partie (Chinese Banquet / Outlet) to join a culinary team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality Chinese cuisine that reflects brand standards, ensuring smooth banquet and outlet kitchen operations, and supporting team development while maintaining excellent guest satisfaction. Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee assigned kitchen section or station, ensuring efficiency and consistency. - Prepare and present high-quality Chinese dishes for banquets and outlets. - Assist in organizing and setting up kitchen sections effectively. - Monitor food and operating costs, reducing waste and improving efficiency. - Ensure compliance with hygiene, occupational health, and safety standards. - Deliver courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service. - Train, inspire, and support kitchen team members to achieve performance goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management preferred. - Minimum 1 year experience as Chef de Partie, or 2–3 years as Demi Chef in hotels or large restaurants. - Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices. - Experience in luxury or international dining environments preferred. - Leadership skills to manage a diverse culinary team. - Basic computer skills (MS Office, recipe maintenance systems). - Able to communicate in simple spoken and written English. - Positive, team-oriented attitude with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
