Description

We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef with strong knowledge of Indian cuisine to support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations for a new outlet. The role involves supervising junior staff, ensuring consistent food quality, and maintaining smooth daily service. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252

Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist the Head Chef in menu execution and kitchen operations * Supervise and train Junior Chefs and Helpers * Ensure food consistency in taste, portion, and presentation * Manage stock levels, monitor storage, and minimize wastage * Lead the kitchen team during the Head Chef’s absence * Enforce food hygiene, safety, and handling standards

Qualifications and Requirements

* At least 4 years of experience in Indian cuisine kitchens * Strong knowledge of tandoor, curries, breads, and biryani * Proven leadership and supervisory skills * Ability to work under pressure in high-volume service * Good understanding of inventory and cost management
