Supervisor

Description

We are seeking a proactive and organized Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and oversee the maintenance of our company's storage facilities. Reporting to various stakeholders across our organization, including the Facilities Executive, Operations Executive, and Chief Operations Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high safety standards, and fostering a productive work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Collaborate with upper management to establish strategic operational objectives. * Take ownership of ensuring that all safety standards are consistently met within the workplace. * Manage and organize the work schedules of technicians, including reviewing and adjusting as needed. * Assign tasks to technicians, inspect completed work to ensure it meets our standards, and provide guidance on effectively addressing customer requests. * Monitor the performance of both internal teams and external service providers to ensure operational efficiency. * Cultivate a workplace environment that supports and encourages productive work. * Monitor and assess occupant satisfaction with our services and facilities. * Ensure that all staff members are fully informed and understand our Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, ideally involving the management of technical staff or maintenance operations. * Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of management to contribute to strategic operational planning. * A strong commitment to ensuring and upholding high safety standards within a workplace environment. * Excellent organizational skills to manage and schedule the work of a team, ensuring efficient task allocation and completion. * Ability to assign tasks clearly, inspect work for quality and adherence to standards, and provide constructive guidance and training to team members. * Experience in monitoring the performance of both internal teams and external service providers. * Skills in fostering a positive and productive work environment for team members. * An understanding of the importance of occupant satisfaction and the ability to monitor and address related feedback. * A thorough understanding of and the ability to ensure staff awareness of Health and Safety policies and procedures. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and upper management. * Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and ensure smooth workflows.
