Responsibilities and Duties

* Handle daily pastry preparation and assigned duties to meet brand standards * Coordinate with Sous Chef on production requirements and service needs * Estimate daily production needs and check quality of raw and cooked products * Ensure all pastry items meet standards of quality, consistency, and presentation * Monitor guest satisfaction, operating costs, and food wastage * Maintain hygiene, storage, and preservation practices according to standards * Operate and maintain equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly * Guide and train junior staff to maintain motivation and efficiency * Monitor expiry dates and storage conditions of food items * Support menu creation and cost control measures * Assist in last-minute events, functions, and special requests

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 1 year experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar pastry role * Solid knowledge of pastry preparation, food hygiene, and safety standards * Ability to work under deadlines with high attention to detail * Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills * Knowledge of menu development and cost control in volume pastry production
