We are looking for an experienced Cook to support daily kitchen operations at a restaurant in Little India. The role involves preparing and cooking South Indian, North Indian, and Western dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards. Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist in preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and menus * Wash, peel, chop, slice, and grate food items as required * Measure and mix ingredients accurately * Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment * Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas * Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times * Store food properly and check for freshness * Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment * Receive and store deliveries; track inventory and alert when supplies are low * Assist with plating and presentation of meals * Prepare a wide range of South Indian, North Indian, and Western dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner items * Handle spice ingredients effectively * Collaborate with kitchen staff and maintain good working relationships

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 10 years of relevant cooking experience * Strong knowledge of South Indian, North Indian, and Western cuisine * Ability to handle spices and complex flavor profiles * Good teamwork and communication skills * Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
