Description

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a modern European restaurant in Keong Saik. The role supports the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring dishes meet the highest culinary standards. Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist the Head Chef in overall kitchen operations and administration * Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation * Prepare dishes according to standard recipes, portion control, and quality requirements * Maintain food stock levels, manage inventory, and monitor cost control * Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations * Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of satisfaction * Contribute to menu development, marketing plans, and seasonal specials * Act as manager on duty when required and oversee stewarding operations

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience, including supervisory roles * Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and international cuisines * Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Strong understanding of cost control, food safety, and kitchen management
