Responsibilities and Duties

* Financial & Inventory Management: Collaborate with the culinary leadership team on budgeting, procurement, and optimal ingredient utilization to ensure cost-efficiency. Monitor and manage food costs and inventory, implementing effective waste reduction strategies. Maintain accurate financial and inventory records for informed management decisions. * Culinary Quality & Innovation: Ensure consistent culinary quality, strictly adhering to recipe and presentation standards. Stay current with emerging culinary trends, adapting menus and cooking methods to innovate and enhance offerings. * Operational Leadership: Lead daily kitchen operations effectively in the absence of the senior culinary leader, ensuring smooth team function and exceptional customer satisfaction. * Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous safety and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations, maintaining a clean environment and full compliance with regulations. * Staff Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior kitchen staff, fostering skill development and ensuring adherence to high kitchen standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred. * Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in a Sous Chef role, demonstrating strong financial and culinary management skills, particularly in Indian cuisine. * Proficient in industry best practices, with a steadfast commitment to culinary excellence and innovation. * Possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, thriving in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
