Kitchen Assistant

Description

We are hiring three Kitchen Assistants to support daily kitchen operations at a Japanese-style restaurant near Tanjong Pagar MRT. This role focuses on ingredient preparation, cleanliness, and efficiency—ideal for individuals with a keen eye for hygiene and a hands-on attitude.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Perform basic food prep such as slicing meat and chopping vegetables *Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times *Ensure all food handling adheres to hygiene and safety protocols *Assist with setting up ingredients for daily use *Support the kitchen team with non-cooking tasks as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

*Must be comfortable using kitchen knives and performing repetitive tasks *Able to stand and work throughout the shift duration *Basic understanding of food hygiene standards *Punctual, reliable, and willing to follow instructions *Prior kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory
