Human Resource Executive / Senior Executive

Description

This role supports the HR Manager in various HR functions, including policy development, compensation and benefits analysis, payroll review, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, contract management, work pass administration, internship programs, data management, and other related duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage and coordinate the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding new hires. * Maintain accurate records of employee data, including contracts, performance reviews, and other relevant information for HR projects and initiatives. * Monitor work permit expiration dates and manage the application and renewal process for foreign workers. * Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure they align with current legislation and best practices. * Analyze compensation and benefits trends, researching and proposing competitive compensation packages to attract and retain talent. * Review monthly payroll calculations and reconciliations for accuracy. * Handle the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with regulations. * Monitor applications and renewals for professional certifications or licenses relevant to employee roles. * Manage student internship and teacher attachment programs, coordinating onboarding, training, and performance evaluation. * Follow up on staff confirmations and contract renewals, including managing re-employment processes. * Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma from a Polytechnic or Bachelor's Degree. * Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and HR practices. * Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). * Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
