Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef De Partie (Pastry) to oversee and execute daily pastry production, maintain high standards of quality and hygiene, and guide junior team members within a dynamic hotel kitchen environment. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252
Responsibilities and Duties
* Execute and oversee the preparation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to standardized recipes * Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of all pastry items * Contribute to the development and refinement of dessert recipes and menu items * Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the pastry section * Supervise and provide guidance to junior pastry chefs and kitchen assistants * Manage inventory levels, monitor usage, and place orders for pastry ingredients * Ensure proper use, maintenance, and reporting of pastry equipment issues * Coordinate with other kitchen departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations * Liaise with service staff to address customer preferences or special requests * Stay updated on pastry trends, techniques, and attend relevant training sessions * Uphold professional appearance, grooming, and behavior standards
Qualifications and Requirements
* 1–2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar supervisory role in a high-volume F&B or hospitality setting * Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or related professional qualification * Strong leadership and team coordination skills * High attention to detail with a commitment to food quality and hygiene standards * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Capable of working efficiently under pressure and managing multiple priorities
