Description
We are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join a Michelin-starred contemporary Asian restaurant in Clarke Quay. The role involves preparing premium ingredients, supporting menu execution, and working closely with senior chefs to deliver refined dishes. Responsibilities and Duties
* Prepare menus in collaboration with senior chefs * Ensure adequacy of supplies at cooking stations * Prepare frequently used ingredients such as vegetables and spices * Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef while contributing new ideas * Optimize cooking processes with focus on speed and quality * Enforce strict hygiene and food safety standards * Maintain a climate of teamwork and cooperation in the kitchen
Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven culinary experience in fine dining or premium restaurants * Strong command of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment * Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure * Knowledge of best cooking practices and attention to detail * Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred
