Description

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef with strong Chinese wok skills to oversee daily restaurant operations. The role involves managing both FOH and BOH teams, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining quality standards, and supporting menu development while driving profitability. Responsibilities and Duties

* Train, retrain, and supervise FOH & BOH staff, ensuring compliance with SOPs * Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction; address feedback and complaints effectively * Manage budgets and control costs (labor, food, and overhead) to maximize profitability * Oversee daily operations, including inventory, supplies, and equipment management * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations * Collaborate with management on menu planning and seasonal updates * Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards * Foster a positive work environment to build strong teamwork and morale * Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and staff performance

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 3 years of experience in outlet management or as a senior kitchen leader * Proven Chinese wok cooking skills with higher culinary expertise * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills * Passion for hospitality, detail-oriented, and committed to culinary excellence * Ability to remain composed and manage teams under pressure * Reliable, punctual, energetic, and able to work long hours in a fast-paced environment * Willingness to work weekends and public holidays * No overtime pay or offset provided
