Sous Chef

We're in search of a passionate and driven individual to lead our restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role demands a versatile leader who can manage a diverse team, optimize operational efficiency, and drive profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Lead and develop both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams, providing training and ensuring adherence to operational procedures. * Cultivate outstanding customer experiences, proactively addressing feedback and resolving any concerns. * Manage financial aspects, including sales analysis, budget control, and cost optimization, to maximize profitability. * Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow, inventory management, and compliance with safety and health regulations. * Collaborate on menu development, considering customer preferences, seasonal ingredients, and cost effectiveness. * Maintain rigorous quality control standards for food, presentation, and service. * Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting team morale and performance. * Generate detailed reports on sales, expenses, and team performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of three years of experience in a restaurant leadership role, with advanced culinary skills, notably in Chinese wok cooking. * Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, coupled with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry. (Emphasis on detail-orientedness, a relentless pursuit of culinary excellence, a keen sense of taste and smell, and the ability to gracefully manage a team under pressure). * Reliable, punctual, and responsible, with an enthusiastic and positive mindset. * High energy and stamina, capable of working long hours in a fast-paced environment. * Availability to work weekends and public holidays, with flexible hours based on restaurant operations. * Please note, this position does not offer overtime pay or time off in lieu of overtime.
