Pastry Assistant (Central Kitchen)

Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Pastry Assistant to support pastry production in a central kitchen environment. Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist Executive Pastry Chef and Pastry Chef in daily kitchen operations * Prepare ingredients and assist in the production of pastry items * Guide junior kitchen staff when required * Receive and check inventory; monitor stock levels * Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen at all times

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 2–3 years of kitchen experience preferred * Strong knowledge of ingredients and pastry techniques * Familiar with food handling, preparation, and hygiene standards * Able to maintain high-quality production and presentation standards * Diploma in Pastry & Bakery is an advantage
