Description

They are seeking a Human Resource Manager to oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, industrial relations, training, welfare, and performance management. Responsibilities and Duties

Recruitment & Manpower Planning: - Manage manpower requirements, sourcing and selecting candidates to meet business needs. - Oversee recruitment of senior/key executives and ensure compliance with labour regulations. - Monitor manpower levels against business volume and compile monthly workforce statistics. Compensation & Benefits: - Administer salary structures, annual increments, promotions, and benefits in line with HR policies. - Conduct salary/benefit surveys and maintain competitive benchmarks. - Oversee performance appraisal cycles and manpower cost reporting. - Support HR budget preparation and ensure cost control for labour-related expenses. Employee & Industrial Relations: - Provide counselling and HR advisory support to managers and employees. - Formulate and review HR policies and ensure compliance across the hotel. - Handle union relations, collective bargaining, grievance management, and disciplinary cases. - Ensure compliance with employment legislation and statutory requirements. Training & Development: - Prepare and manage training budget and programmes. - Liaise with department heads to assess training needs and organize relevant courses. - Monitor training effectiveness, maintain records, and administer funding claims. Welfare & Engagement: - Maintain staff facilities, organize staff activities, and oversee employee welfare programs. - Ensure provision of staff meals, health benefits, and insurance coverage. Performance & Career Management: - Collaborate with managers to implement performance reviews and SMART plans. - Identify high-potential employees and establish career development and succession planning programs. - Coordinate outplacement and job redesign initiatives to enhance productivity. Other Duties: - Oversee policy documentation, compliance, and reporting. - Perform other responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline. - Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, retail, or service sectors. - Strong knowledge of Singapore HR regulations and industrial relations. - IHRP certification preferred. - Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); familiarity with Timesoft an advantage. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. - Proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
