Description

Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing and supervising daily operations of a Chinese restaurant, ensuring high-quality service, food standards, and achievement of business goals. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252

Responsibilities and Duties

- Assist the Restaurant Manager in developing and executing daily operation plans, including staffing, kitchen, and front-of-house coordination - Act as the acting manager in the Restaurant Manager’s absence, independently handling operations - Recruit, train, and assess restaurant service staff, ensuring strong service skills and catering knowledge - Manage and schedule staff shifts, monitor performance, and provide coaching to improve service standards - Deliver high-quality customer service, resolve complaints, and maintain strong customer relationships - Assist with restaurant budgeting and cost control, including ingredient procurement and operating expenses - Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and shortages - Enforce compliance with hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety regulations - Monitor service quality, observe customer feedback, and implement improvements - Support marketing and promotional campaigns to attract and retain customers - Handle administrative duties such as financial reporting, attendance, menu updates, and inventory - Liaise with suppliers and external partners to ensure timely provision of ingredients, supplies, and services - Assist in planning and executing marketing activities such as festive menus, promotions, and group discounts

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant F&B management experience - Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of Chinese cuisine and restaurant operations preferred - Ability to manage staff, resolve complaints, and deliver service excellence
