We are looking for a detail-oriented Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at Dempsey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and decorating baked goods, developing new recipes, and maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards. Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, breads, and pastries * Decorate finished products with glaze, icing, or other toppings * Create and test new recipes to support menu innovation and sales * Monitor and maintain inventory levels; order supplies when needed * Ensure quality checks of raw ingredients before baking * Maintain records of baking operations and costs for profitability * Provide friendly and responsive service to customers and act on feedback * Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of baking tools and equipment * Uphold workplace safety and personal hygiene standards at all times * Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to deliver a positive customer experience

Qualifications and Requirements

* Certification in Culinary Arts or bakery-related discipline * Possess WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or willing to attend Food Safety Course Level 1 (or Refresher) * Minimum 1 year of relevant baking/pastry experience * Strong time management, punctuality, and ability to work independently * Good customer service and communication skills * Team player with a positive attitude * Able to work on weekends and public holidays (5-day work week) * Open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only
