We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to oversee Indian cuisine operations across a luxury boutique hotel group. The role requires strong leadership in menu development, cost control, and kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence in food quality while leading a diverse culinary team. Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and food safety * Develop and innovate menus, including seasonal and event-based dishes * Manage cost control, inventory, purchasing, and food waste reduction * Supervise, train, and evaluate kitchen staff; implement succession planning and team development * Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations * Collaborate with hotel management on budgeting, P\&L reviews, and operational strategies * Conduct regular briefings, market surveys, and quality checks on food and equipment * Lead sustainability practices and minimize kitchen wastage

Qualifications and Requirements

* At least 10 years of proven culinary experience with strong expertise in Indian cuisine * Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field preferred * Strong leadership and people management skills in high-volume hospitality operations * Excellent understanding of cost control, menu engineering, and operational efficiency * Creative culinary vision balanced with discipline and consistency
