Description
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to manage digital campaigns, analyze performance, and support journal promotion across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. Key responsibilities include coordinating events, facilitating collaborations with academic institutions, representing the company at conferences, and maintaining relationships with scholars and media outlets. You will also assist with administrative tasks, inquiries, and new marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties
Plan, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, and display advertising. Conduct industry and competitor research to refine marketing strategies and inform decision-making. Analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and generate insightful reports for optimization. Work with journal teams to promote publications through social media, academic conferences, and scholar meetings in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Organize promotional activities like author training sessions and workshops at leading universities and institutions in Singapore and APAC. Support scholar training and facilitate collaboration agreements with top academic institutions. Represent the company at academic conferences, managing booth setups and on-site operations. Build and maintain relationships with key scholars and academic media in Singapore and APAC. Assist the marketing manager in launching new marketing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably within the publishing or academic industry. Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and display advertising. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. Experience coordinating events, workshops, or academic conferences is a plus. Knowledge of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) academic landscape and familiarity with scholarly publishing is an advantage. Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, SEO platforms, and CRM software. Highly organized with strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
