We are seeking a passionate and skilled culinary professional to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing delicious meals, adhering to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare ingredients with precision by following recipes, including slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing. * Enhance flavors by adding seasonings and ensure taste satisfaction before plating meals. * Expertly prepare hot meals through grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling, while also assembling and refrigerating cold dishes. * Strictly adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines, meticulously maintaining temperature and HACCP logs, and ensuring accurate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items. * Collaborate with the supervisor to contribute creative ideas for daily, holiday, and themed menus. * Maintain a spotless and sanitary environment for all equipment, food storage areas, and work stations. * Complete all cleaning tasks according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing and pot washing duties. * Actively listen to customer feedback and suggestions, resolving complaints effectively within your scope and escalating complex issues to the supervisor. * Participate in and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality and team productivity. * Ensure all work areas, utensils, and equipment are consistently clean and well-maintained. * Take initiative in developing new menu items while creatively improving existing offerings. * Manage kitchen expenses, food costs, inventory, and staffing levels within established budgetary limits. * Demonstrate expertise in preparing North Indian cuisine. * Be available and willing to work flexible shifts. * Assist with all aspects of food preparation and the serving of meals to our valued customers. * Supervise a team, ensuring that both the kitchen and service areas are consistently clean and organized. * Ensure strict compliance with all food safety and health regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in food preparation, demonstrating a strong understanding of culinary techniques. * Thorough knowledge of and adherence to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, including HACCP guidelines. * Ability to contribute creatively to menu development and adapt to various culinary styles. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and efficient work environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and address customer feedback. * Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced kitchen setting. * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and potentially supervise others. * Expertise in preparing North Indian dishes is highly desirable. * Flexibility to work various shifts as required. * A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
