Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare, cook, and present exceptional dishes within your designated kitchen area. * Collaborate with senior chefs to contribute to menu development and dish creation. * Handle the preparation of meats and fish with precision. * Assist in upholding health and safety protocols within the kitchen. * Ensure adherence to all food hygiene practices. * Guide and train Commis Chefs, fostering their culinary growth. * Monitor portion control and minimize food waste. * Maintain kitchen and food safety standards to the highest degree.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Demonstrated ability to independently manage a kitchen section. * Proven capacity to work effectively with minimal supervision. * Experience in leading and developing Commis Chefs. * Capability to consistently produce high-quality food across various culinary areas. * Clear and effective verbal communication skills. * Strong team leadership and collaborative abilities. * Exceptional attention to detail and precision. * Solid numerical skills for recipe adjustments and inventory management. * Genuine enthusiasm for personal and team skill development. * Flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen demands and embrace new techniques. * A positive, approachable, and team-oriented attitude. * Commitment to team collaboration and support. * Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
