Kitchen Crew (Internship)

Description

We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team and embark on a rewarding culinary journey. This role offers the chance to learn essential kitchen skills, contribute to a dynamic team, and play a vital part in delivering delightful dining experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Become familiar with and adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols. * Gain proficiency in using digital order systems, from customer placement to kitchen display. * Prepare seasonal and promotional culinary offerings, following provided recipes. * Learn and apply the restaurant's inventory management procedures. * Implement the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for stock and ingredient usage. * Inspect finished dishes to confirm adherence to quality standards and learn proper plating techniques. * Provide support to other kitchen stations as needed to maintain seamless service. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dishwashing and equipment cleaning. * Receive and verify stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Availability to work weekends and public holidays. * A proactive and diligent approach, coupled with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
