We are seeking a dedicated Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations of a Mexican casual dining group. The role involves ensuring consistent food quality, supporting recruitment and training of kitchen staff, managing P\&L responsibilities, and maintaining compliance with food safety and workplace health standards. Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee and manage all aspects of daily kitchen operations * Lead, recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff across outlets * Support restaurant manager with P\&L results including food cost, labor, and operating expenses * Maintain strict compliance with food hygiene, safety, and WH\&S policies * Contribute to menu development and ensure consistency in food standards * Monitor inventory levels, control wastage, and ensure efficient ordering

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role within a busy hospitality kitchen * Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent preferred * Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices * Proven ability to manage and motivate a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
