Description

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations of a new Indian cuisine outlet. The role involves designing authentic and innovative menus, maintaining food quality and hygiene, managing costs, and developing a motivated and high-performing culinary team. Responsibilities and Duties

* Develop authentic North and South Indian menus with seasonal innovations * Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow * Hire, train, and mentor Sous Chefs, Junior Chefs, and Helpers * Standardize recipes to ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation * Control food costs, minimize wastage, and manage inventory and supplier relations * Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

Qualifications and Requirements

* At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in Indian cuisine kitchens * Expertise in tandoor, curries, biryani, breads, and regional specialties * Strong knowledge of menu engineering and cost control * Excellent communication, training, and problem-solving abilities * Creative yet disciplined approach to balancing authenticity with innovation
