Description
We are hiring a Junior Cook to join the back kitchen team of a Japanese fine dining restaurant. The role suits individuals passionate about Japanese cuisine and eager to build a culinary career under the mentorship of senior chefs in a professional kitchen environment. Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist senior chefs in food preparation and cooking activities. - Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards. - Support kitchen operations during both lunch and dinner service. - Learn and apply authentic Japanese cooking methods and techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably some prior experience in kitchen or culinary work (training provided). - Genuine passion for Japanese cuisine with a strong willingness to learn. - Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills. - Able to work shifts as part of a 6-day weekly roster.
