Description

The Room Division Manager ensures the efficient and profitable operation of the Rooms Division, overseeing strategy, budgeting, and forecasting. They advise the Cluster General Manager on goals and policies, analyze guest trends, and ensure Front Office operations meet ARR and occupancy targets. The role involves maintaining high standards in Bell Service and Telephone teams, coordinating with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security, and conducting regular inspections. Additionally, the manager works with Talent & Culture on staffing needs and development, monitors departmental programs, and oversees daily operations, performing other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage the efficient and profitable operation of the Rooms Division. * Develop strategies, budgets, and forecasts; advise the Cluster General Manager on goals and policies. * Analyze guest trends and adapt services to meet changing needs. * Ensure Front Office achieves ARR and occupancy goals through effective yield management. * Maintain high service standards in Bell Service and Telephone teams. * Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security for smooth operations. * Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure quality. * Collaborate with Talent & Culture on staffing needs and performance management. * Conduct daily department visits and address operational issues. * Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager. * Team Management: * Identify and develop potential team members. * Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback. * Design and maintain training programs to meet LQA Standards. * Prepare weekly schedules and hold monthly departmental meetings. * Foster respect, sensitivity, and transparency across cultural groups. * Other Responsibilities: * Maintain knowledge of hotel services and fire safety procedures. * Attend required meetings and training. * Report for duty on time and uphold professional appearance. * Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management * At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role * Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English * Proficiency in additional languages or a basic understanding of local languages is a plus * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
